If you are in 3D, you can probably influence the world of 2D.
If you are from a higher dimension, and can influence the one you are in (like 3D), then you are like a god to others in that same dimension. Like a cartoonist drawing new cartoons in 2D, the Cartoon Dimension. So, say I am from 7D and am in 3D making events. People in 3D do not have a clue how I am creating events in 3D. They think it is impossible, or that I am doing something occultish. The schedule for Earth is written in a higher dimension. People with an extra ability like Chronokinesis while in lower dimensions can influence their environment.
2D is a paper, 3D is a box, 5D is like a box in a box behind a box (that you don't see). If you have a 2-way mirror, one side is reflective until a light appears inside it, then it is clear glass. The same applies to Earth's blue sky turned night sky with stars outside. You exit your body and see a larger world overlapping Earth, called the Otherworld or Netherworld. etc.
